Job Responsibility
- You are responsible and accountable to ensure that your assigned Project comply with all the applicable HSSE statutory requirements and Wood policies and procedures, which may be amended from time to time
- You will be responsible to carry a 2.17.1 Legal Appointment in term of the MHSA
- Participate in the contractor, supplier HSSE pre-qualification and selection processes. Facilitate the implementation of the Wood HSSE Management System (Blue Book). Have input and participate in project reviews and risk assessments. Investigate and assess HSSE staffing requirements for the project in consultation with HSSEA Manager for EMEA.
- Implement, review (at regular intervals) and obtain the Client approval for the Project HSSE Execution Plan. Audit and report compliance with HSSE management plans as scheduled. Provide advice and support to Project Management to ensure continuous improvement of HSSE management on the project. Ensure accident/incident and investigations are reported and conducted in accordance with Wood mandatory procedures.
- Develop and review a training needs analysis, matrix and plan for the project and ensure training packages are available. Facilitate the development of induction and orientation programs for Project. Develop and test all Emergency Management Plans, Traffic Management and Waste Management Plans for the project. Evaluate new HSSE equipment and products. Facilitate Project Risk Workshops at each stage of the project and ensure risk registers are kept up to date. Provide Monthly Reports to the HSSEA Manager for EMEA.
