Job Responsibility
- Includes monitoring, directing the operation and performance of steam turbine and diesel engine generators and close checking of control panels in the Main Distribution Centre (MDC).
- Follows up on maintenance, repairs and major overhauls carried out by assigned direct hire/ contractor technicians.
- Identifies requirements for spare parts, recommends priorities for repairs and raises brief reports of work done.
- Carries out more complex hand on maintenance work as required.
- 8 years of experience in the installation, repair, testing and maintenance of a wide range of electrical equipment preferably in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
